Randy had been with the volunteer fire department for 3 years before he was hired as a career firefighter in 1984. He is certified as an Inspector II with the Department of Fire Programs. He is also a Fire Instructor III with the Department of Fire Programs, a General Instructor with the New River Criminal Justice Academy, Child Safety Seat Inspector, EVOC Instructor, and certified Dispatcher.
