Kathy has been with the Wytheville Fire Department since 1982. She was a volunteer until January 2000 when she was hired as a fire engineer. As a volunteer, Kathy served as Secretary, Treasurer, Training Officer and Captain. She is certified as an Adjunct Instructor and Fire Officer II through the Virginia Department of Fire Programs. She is also a certified Dispatcher.
