John has been with the Fire Department since November 1982 when he joined as a volunteer. He became employed by the Town of Wytheville in 1985. He has been with the WDPS since 1994. John is certified as an Inspector II through the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, Master Inspector through the Department of Housing and Community Development, and he is certified in Virginia to inspect Amusement Devices. He is also a certified Dispatcher.
