Albert L. Newberry
Albert L. Newberry, Jr. has been employed by the Town of Wytheville since July of 1982 . He has served in the positions of Maintenance Supervisor, Building Official, and Fire Marshal and currently serves as the Director of Public Safety.
Mr. Newberry received his AAS Degree in Drafting and Design from Wytheville Community College in 1973. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Averett College in May of 1993. In addition, he is also a graduate of the University of Richmond Police Executive Leadership School, Adjunct Instructor for the Virginia Department of Fire Programs, and the New River Criminal Justice Training Academy.
