Steve Bralley

Steve has been in law enforcement since 1978. He began his career as a dispatcher in 1978 and became a sworn police officer in 1981. Steve graduated from the New River Criminal Justice Training Academy in 1981 and began his career at the Wythe County Sheriff's Office. During his time there, he served as a patrol officer and worked as an investigator. In 1993, Steve came to the Wytheville Police Department as a patrolman and was promoted to investigator in August of 2000. Steve has received certifications through the Department of Criminal Justice Services as Field Training Officer, Crime Scene Technician, Evidence Collection, General Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Defensive Driving Instructor, Radar Instructor and Hostage Negotiator.
